Dana Ann Huey, PT, DPT, PCS, RYT, is a board certified physical therapist and pediatric clinical specialist who has dedicated her career to helping infants, children, and teens - from those needing simple developmental support to medically complex cases - build strength, confidence and independence.
She has over 15 years of experience working at a pediatric hospital working with a diverse range of conditions including the following:
Post-NICU (premature births)
Developmental Delay
Torticollis and Plagiocephaly
Rare genetic and chromosomal disorders
Rheumatological disorders
Neurological conditions including cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injuries, stroke and seizure disorders
Orthopedic injuries
Blood disorders
Cancer
Dana specializes in early intervention, where small steps taken early can make a life-changing difference. She supports babies and children in developing the skills needed for everyday milestones. Her work in specialized clinics such as High Risk Infant Clinics, has helped care for post-NICU babies, bridging the gap between hospital discharge and access to early intervention services, often supporting earlier identification and treatement of developmental delays.
She has worked for several years providing aquatic therapy and has experience with serial casting, equipment, bracing and orthoses management.
Her approach is patient-centered, focusing on collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
In addition to her clinical skills, Dana is a certified yoga instructor incorporating yoga into her therapy sessions to enhance both physical and emotional well-being. A lifelong yogi herself, she has taught yoga to children and adults alike, bringing a holistic approach to her therapy practice.
As a mother of two, Dana has been humbled by the realities of motherhood and uses this personal experience to enhance her understanding and empathy in her clinical work. Her approach combines a deep well of professional knowledge with a genuine care and understanding of the needs of both children and their families.
Dana established The Little Therapy Co. in 2025 to offer pediatric physical therapy services, infant wellness visits and developmental consultations in the comfort of your own home.
Because every child deserves the chance to thrive - and every parent deserves to feel supported, informed, and hopeful along the way.
